An award-winning supply chain and warehousing company based in Bangalore partnered with Crezeal to grow its organic search visibility and generate qualified business enquiries across India.

The company provides flexible 3PL, warehousing, and supply chain management solutions for some of India's most recognised brands including Coca-Cola, P&G, Amazon, Flipkart, Tata Consumer Products, Hindustan Unilever, and Blinkit. Featured in Forbes, Fortune, Business Today, and the Economic Times, and winner of multiple logistics and warehousing awards including an international recognition from Nasscom and Singapore Institute of Material Management, the company had a strong offline reputation but needed a stronger organic search presence to match it.

Despite serving blue-chip clients and operating warehouses across Bangalore and pan-India locations, searches for warehousing and supply chain solutions were not consistently returning the company in competitive Google positions. The goal was to fix that build keyword rankings across India, grow organic traffic, and earn visibility in both traditional and AI-driven search environments.

Goal: Organic Traffic Growth + Keyword Rankings + Lead Generation

Timeline: 6 Months

THE CHALLENGE

Ranking for Supply Chain and Warehousing Keywords in a Market Dominated by Large Logistics Aggregators

Competing for warehousing and supply chain keywords in India meant going up against large 3PL aggregators, logistics directories, and well-funded platforms with years of established domain authority.

Low visibility for high-intent supply chain keywords

Searches like "supply chain management for D2C brands", "fulfillment services for ecommerce", and "ecommerce warehousing solutions" were all ranked beyond position 100 at the start, despite the company actively serving clients in exactly these segments.

Competitive national market

Warehousing and logistics is a highly competitive category in India, with large aggregator platforms and directories dominating most commercial search queries.

Limited backlink growth

Although the company had strong media coverage in Forbes and the Economic Times, these mentions were not yet translating into a strong, structured backlink profile that Google could use as an authority signal.

No AI search visibility

With buyers increasingly using ChatGPT and AI tools to research supply chain and warehousing vendors, the company had no presence in AI-driven discovery platforms at the start of the engagement.

Organic leads not reflecting brand reputation

Despite serving 30+ marquee brands and winning multiple industry awards, the website was not generating organic enquiries proportional to its real-world standing.

Our Approach

We built a structured, long-term SEO strategy combining technical fixes, keyword-targeted content, authority link building, and AEO work all focused on growing organic visibility and leads across India.

1. Technical SEO Audit and Fixes

We began with a full technical audit covering crawlability, site speed, indexation, structured data, and schema markup. Fixing these foundational issues ensured the site was being properly read and ranked by Google before content or link work began.

2. High-Intent Keyword Targeting

A comprehensive keyword map was built around the client's core services warehousing solutions, 3PL services, supply chain management, ecommerce fulfillment, and cold storage combined with India location modifiers for Bangalore, Mumbai, and pan-India searches. Priority was placed on commercial and B2B intent keywords used by procurement managers, D2C founders, and supply chain decision-makers.

3. On-Page Content Optimisation

Service pages were restructured with stronger keyword alignment, improved meta titles and descriptions, clearer content hierarchy, and better internal linking. Content was also structured for AI readability directly contributing to the ChatGPT citation sessions that followed.

4. Authority Link Building

A consistent outreach-driven link building programme grew the backlink profile to 168+ backlinks across 69 referring domains from November 2023 through August 2026. Domain Authority was maintained at 11 throughout the engagement with consistent upward momentum from an initial baseline of 7–8.

5. AEO and AI Visibility Work

Alongside traditional SEO, answer engine optimisation (AEO) was implemented structuring content and schema to be discoverable in AI-assisted search environments. This led to 58 ChatGPT citation sessions with 34 new users, as well as 7.72K Generative AI feature impressions in Google Search Console a strong early signal of growing AI search visibility.

6. Lead Conversion Tracking

GA4 conversion tracking was set up to monitor both call events and business form submissions from organic traffic enabling clear attribution of lead actions to SEO performance.

What We Achieved Together

Over the engagement period, the SEO strategy delivered measurable growth across impressions, rankings, backlinks, AI visibility, and organic lead generation.

The website recorded 220K Google Search impressions and 1,860 organic clicks over the tracked period, with average position reaching 15.2 a significant improvement from the 40+ starting position seen in August 2025. The position chart shows a consistent upward climb from ~40 at launch to a stable 15–20 range by mid-2026, with impressions growing from near-zero to a sustained 1,000–1,500 per day.

The comparison period is equally compelling: the last 6 months recorded 149K impressions and 1.24K clicks, compared to just 71.7K impressions and 615 clicks in the previous 6 months representing a 109% increase in impressions and 102% increase in clicks period on period.

Keyword rankings improved significantly across high-intent supply chain searches. "Supply chain management for D2C brands" jumped from position 100 to position 8 (+92). "Fulfillment services for ecommerce" moved from 100 to 41 (+59). "Ecommerce warehousing solutions" climbed from 100 to 42 (+58). Location-specific terms like "warehousing in Mumbai" and "warehousing service" also improved, while "warehouse storage for furniture in Bangalore" maintained a strong position 5 ranking.

The backlink profile grew steadily to 168+ backlinks across 69 referring domains from November 2023 through August 2026, with an accelerating growth curve from early 2026. Domain Authority held consistently at 11, and organic keywords ranking reached 3,500 including +288 new keywords added in the most recent reporting month.

Google Analytics 4 showed 3,600 active users and 3,600 new users between January and July 2026, with 44K total events and an average engagement time of 41 seconds per session.

Organic lead activity was confirmed through conversion tracking: 51 organic call events (37 engaged sessions, 1.03% conversion rate) and 38 business form submissions from organic traffic (35 engaged sessions, 0.98% conversion rate) demonstrating that search visibility was translating into real commercial enquiries.

On the AI visibility front, ChatGPT alone drove 58 sessions and 34 new users, and Google Search Console's Generative AI features panel recorded 7,720 impressions placing the company in front of AI-assisted buyers researching warehousing and supply chain solutions.

The Proof

Data Snapshots from Every Channel

Key Takeaways

Compound Growth Takes Time But Pays Off

The position chart tells the story a consistent climb from 40+ to 15 over 12 months. No shortcuts, just sustained monthly work on content, links, and technical health.

B2B Supply Chain Buyers Use AI Too

58 ChatGPT sessions and 7.72K Generative AI impressions show that procurement managers and supply chain decision-makers are increasingly discovering vendors through AI tools. AEO work done alongside traditional SEO opened this channel early.

Period-on-Period Growth Is the Real Proof

A 109% increase in impressions and 102% increase in clicks comparing the last 6 months to the previous 6 months shows the strategy was accelerating not just delivering a one-time spike.

Lead Conversion Confirmed the Quality

51 organic call events and 38 business form submissions confirmed the traffic was qualified. For a B2B supply chain company, these are high-intent buyer actions not casual browsing.

Brand Authority and SEO Reinforce Each Other

The company's existing coverage in Forbes, Economic Times, and Business Today provided a foundation. Structured SEO work turned that brand authority into search rankings and organic lead flow.
